BOTOX

MUSCLE RELAXERS

Muscle Relaxers like BOTOX, XEOMIN, DYSPORT, and JEUVEAU are placed carefully into specific muscles in certain amounts to achieve a relaxed and refreshed look. While FDA approved for cosmetic purposes, only between the eyes, "glabella," the frontals, "forehead" muscles, and around the eyes, "crows feet," most advanced injectors will use them for many other areas of the face, neck, and body. These areas include the nose "bunny lines," chin, neck bands, eye brow lift, masseters and many more.

The neuromodulators are typically recommended every 3-6 months. It is theorized among researchers that frequent small doses every 1-2 months may lead to a resistance against them. It is better to get a full dose and the results you would like at one time compared to a little each month. This allows for a lifetime of a refreshed look!

BOTOX

Botox is the first to market muscle relaxer, it stands the test of time. Botox is commonly used in aesthetic and conventional medicine. Made by Allergan, clients can count on the Brilliant Distinctions Reward Program each visit for discounts and specials.

XEOMIN

Xeomin is unique because it is not attached to a protein therefore, occasionally, when other neuromodulators will not work for clients, Xeomin will. xeominaesthetic..com

DYSPORT

Dysport is commonly known to "Kick in" the fastest; typically within 24-48 hours. The unit count for Dysport can sometimes seem confusing to patients because, in general terms, unit number or "dosing" is doubled though cost remains equal to it's competitors.

JEUVEAU

Newtox is the latest muscle relaxer to the US market. The active ingredient to the original toxin has been refined and offers faster onset with the potential for less adverse effects.

FILLER

JUVEDERM - HYALURONIC ACID FILLERS

The Hyaluronic Acid fillers are wonderful for adding volume to an area that you never had before or restoring volume to an area where it has been lost. Some examples of HA Fillers include: Voluma, Perlane, and Restylane.

WHY IS HA SO POPULAR?

The HA Fillers are the most used around the world today due to their safety track record and beautiful results. All HA fillers are similar; however, some have a propensity to last longer, are mixed with lidocaine for anesthesia purposes and represent different particle sizes. Silhouneck Professionals, with decades of experience, can help explain which filler is best to achieve what you want and how to avoid what you don’t. Results aim toward restoration or enhancement of your natural beauty.

WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE IT?

HA Class of fillers is the only class that can be carefully reversed quickly in case of an emergency or dissatisfaction. It is also the only class that is safe in most areas.

KYBELLA

Kybella™

An injectable used in adults to permanently destroy fat cells. It has been FDA approved to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also known as the "double chin." It is not known if Kybella™ is safe and effective for use outside of the submental area, however advanced injectors have used Kybella™ off-label on other areas such as the jowls, underarm fat, belly, thighs and more.

HOW IS KYBELLA ADMINISTERED?

At Silhouneck, Kybella™ is given during an in-office visit. The injection process may take 15-20 minutes. We will give a series of injections into the fat at each treatment session. Depending on the bulk of fat being destroyed, multiple sessions may be required.

HOW OFTEN WILL I NEED TREATMENTS?

Each treatment is personalized to meet the needs of every patient, but most patients see results with every session. The treatments can be administered a minimum of four weeks apart. The really great news is that once the cells are destroyed they can no longer accumulate fat! Once your customize treatment goal is obtained your results are permanent.

WILL THERE BE SIDE EFFECTS?

The most common side effects of Kybella™ include swelling, bruising, pain, numbness, redness, and areas of hardness in the treatment area. There will be "down time" typically one day to a week. It's best to discuss this with your provider prior to injections.
